Tips how to make money for kids

Work for somebody else. Babysit smaller children. Water neighbor's plants.

Make a profit from selling things. Sell lemonade on a hot summer's day. Use hand-painted drinking glasses. Sell your old clothes at a consignment shop or thrift store

Sell homemade cookies, brownies, cakes or muffins.

Sell gum

Sell candy at school. If it's against school rules...sell somewhere else. Make your own greeting cards then sell them.

Make signs and sell signs. If a new business is opening ask if they would like a few signs and create them and sell them per bundle or sheet.

Organize a car wash or sell tickets to a talent show.

Invest your money to work for you. You can buy lemonade mix for a low price. If the customer breaks the movie or CD, make them pay for it. Charge small late fees. Go to your local 99 Cent Store and buy candy and drinks. Sell at school. For example, you could sell candy, small toys or even pop (carbonated drinks)! Or you could sell origami for a low price.
